CK MacLeod Collectibles at ckmac.com is operated by me, Colin Keith MacLeod. I'm selling under my own name because I stand behind every item we sell and every transaction - and also because I'm fully responsible for everything you see here. Someday soon I may have to hire some additional help, but for now ckmac.com amounts to a one-person (or one-person and two dogs) operation. For several years, I worked in antiquarian and collectible books and records, and for a number of years after that I worked in and around the movie industry in Southern California. A few years ago, I tried selling some pieces out of my own collection of books and records, and found it was something that I liked doing.

THE CONSIGNORS

Most of the collectibles you see for sale at ckmac.com come from consignors who spent many years assembling their holdings through the wide range of means that movie collectors employ. Though many of our pieces were acquired through trade or purchase, many of the best acquisitions were outright gifts from colleagues, friends, and relatives who worked in the movie industry, including especially promotions and exhibitor relations.
